Where is Sun Valley? -- southern Idaho,
A retreat for VPs of the Union Pacific line,
The name seems appropriate for a Ford Motors model --
Edsel Ford's baby since thirty-nine,
The connotation of "sun" is simple --
A transparent Plexiglas roof,
When it comes to uttermost, vehicle classiness,
This car will be sex on the hoof,
Only two color schemes will be offered --
Green over yellow and green over green,
Some will call the greens, "Pea" and "Sea,"
But Bloomfield is the meanest we've seen,
This wing-headed Mercury -- messenger of the gods --
Big brother of Ford sees the advent
Of more sophisticated OHV engines,
As natural as a nun in a convent,
We know not when will come more perfect bliss
Than evoked by this mind-bending styling,
Nothing on the road, shy of Deusenberg,
Could be more succinctly beguiling.
